Confronting cholesterol: bringing it all together to solve Australia’s ASCVD crisis report.

Heart Support Australia was pleased to work with leading experts across Australia to create this important evidence-based report focused on optimising lipid levels for people with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) in Australia. The report outlines five key recommendations to improve secondary prevention practices, with a particular emphasis on lipid management.

The report was independently prepared by Evohealth, a specialist health advisory firm, in partnership with an expert Advisory Committee and informed by interviews with stakeholders comprising of clinicians, research leaders, patient advocates and a comprehensive review of published and grey literature and supported by Amgen.
