Heart Support Australia’s National Executive team comprises of experienced staff members who oversee and coordinate the trained volunteer peer support group leaders and hospital visitors across Australia.
Dr Christian Verdicchio – Chief Executive Officer
Dr Verdicchio is the CEO of Heart Support Australia leading Australia’s largest consumer organization in cardiovascular disease. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in cardiology, governance and corporate management to lead Heart Support Australia ensuring it continues to play a key role in providing support and advocating for those heart disease patients living in Australia. Alison Lamb – Admin & Fundraising Manager
Alison has completed the FIA Certificate of Fundraising, the Diploma of Business Administration and is currently studying the Diploma of Leadership & Management. She began working in the not-for-profit sector due to her combined interests of volunteering, community, administration, and logistics. Read more.
Bob Stirling – National Patient Visitor Instructor
Bob brings a wealth of experience in conducting patient visits in hospitals and was a key person in creating the training material that we now use for new volunteers who visit patients in hospitals or conduct over the phone support. Read more.
