Across Australia, in our growing number of Peer Support Groups, our volunteers play vital roles in providing peer support, encouragement and education for cardiac patients and their families and carers. Heart Support Australia volunteer roles include Peer Support Group Leaders and Hospital Patient Visitors.

Volunteering with Heart Support Australia is a positive and rewarding way to support your local cardiac community and provides opportunities to:

  • Make a heartfelt difference
  • Share skills and experience
  • Learn new skills
  • Teach others
  • Gain work experience
  • Meet people and make new friends
  • Increase your confidence and self-esteem.

Please click the flyer below for more information about volunteering as a Hospital Patient Visitor. For all other volunteering enquiries, including to become a Peer Support Group Leader, we would love to hear from you. Please call us on 02 6253 0097 or email office@heartnet.org.au
