Our research
Heart Support Australia collaborates with leading cardiology research groups and institutes across Australia to ensure the patient voice is represented in cardiovascular research. We provide consumer input into clinical trials, basic science research, and translational research studies, helping researchers incorporate patient perspectives into their work.
We have received funding support from the NHMRC and MRFF for our contributions to research and are currently involved in more than five active studies. Over the years, our consumer input has contributed to a range of research publications and outcomes.

As part of our Affiliation with Global Heart Hub, we’re proud to share a new Clinical Research Initiative, designed to bring clinical research closer to patients and to increase awareness and understanding of clinical trials.
This initiative provides clear, trustworthy Clinical Research Patient Information about the different types of cardiovascular health research, how clinical trials work and how people can participate, and why your voice is essential to driving innovation that reflects real-world needs. Global Heart Hub offers a user-friendly Clinical Trial Portal dedicated to cardiovascular trials where you can search for trials using keywords related to your condition and filter results by region.
