Becky Flores

Becky Flores

Administration Officer

Becky oversees the organisation’s essential administrative services for Heart Support Australia’s national programs. As a dedicated team member she coordinates volunteer onboarding and maintains key systems that help ensure the smooth delivery of our Hospital Patient Visitor and Peer Support groups programs nationwide.

Becky finds working alongside our volunteers both meaningful and rewarding. Her commitment to heart health is deeply personal: after witnessing the transformative impact of peer support groups on her mother’s recovery following a heart attack in 2002, where she saw firsthand how empathy and lived experience can improve ones’ health outcomes. That experience continues to inspire her work today at Heart Support Australia.

With a strong foundation in Health Sciences and a passion for community wellbeing, Becky is currently completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Human Nutrition), with graduation expected in 2026. Her professional background spans administration, client intake, and stakeholder engagement across both public and private sectors.

Outside of her professional role, Becky enjoys walking her Beagle–Cavalier cross, Lily, along Chapman Ridge in Canberra—her favourite way to recharge.
