Daena is from Canberra and finished her schooling at Canberra College in Woden. She has studied administration and since leaving school has worked in several organisations as an office assistant and administration officer before coming to work at Heart Support Australia.

Daena is particularly interested in the community and very passionate in regard to heart disease as over the years she has lost both her Grandfather and Uncle to heart disease. Daena’s father has now also experienced heart events which has made her passion grow even more and she enjoys working in an organisation that supports the Australian cardiac community.
